So here are some simple steps for making one.

Get the floral foam and strap it to saucer using floral foam tapes. The tapes are used for sticking the item though it is wet. You can cut the foam as well if ever you are planning to have a different shape or fitting it to the saucer size. Be sure that a space is left at the center upon placing the tapes to place the candle. It is recommended to apply the tapes diagonally into corners.

Push your candle into a foams center. Just slowly push it down for about half inch. When pushing, the depth will be dependent on the length of candles. If the candles length is long, push it more so it is secured. Securing it may prevent it from falling and damaging the decoration. And also, will prevent on catching fire if it is being lighted.

Get four pieces of branches from a blue pine, preferably 10 inches long. Press these branches horizontally to the base of your foam in parallel to the saucer. Then remove those last set of needles, about 1 inch. Scissors can be used when removing or even your hand. Place another layer of a blue pine in 45 degrees angle from both sides and also on the top of oasis. Make sure not to put too much of it near the tip of candle to avoid catching fire.

Place some of the berried ivy in between those blue pines. Just ensure to have everything placed pointing towards central point, underneath your candle. With this, foliages will be allowed to radiate outwards from a centerpiece. And also, be sure to place all large sprigs to the bottom of arrangement. Gaps must be filled in.

Get some small cones and wrap a bunch of three cones on each tip of the tied wires. Wires should have only a length of 4 inches. Put the bunches in an even interval to your centerpiece. Prepare the cinnamon the tie it as well with bunches of 3 by the use of a cord. Put 2 bunches of it near to the cones, one on the top and another to the bottom.

Place some apples as well in bunches of three and placed them around the cones. Make sure to cut the stems of the rose especially the thorns and the leaves. The stems must be cut shorter if ever these will go beyond the length of centerpiece.
